Most of out members are well rounded and know something about a variety of topics but there are always experts in the fields that they spend the most time. The DC405 group would like to help fill in the gaps for our new members and focus on those topics of interest at our public meetings. Please post to the forums to start a new topic.

If we used a tethered balloon with directional antenna to get over the buildings could we get a signal from the @okcCoCo to @cafebellabo? It's almost seven miles point to point.

As an IT professional concerned with network security, you’re confronted by a constantly-evolving array of threats and increasing compliance requirements. But you have to balance your ability to manage this dynamic “threat-scape” against many other imperatives, including cost (both CapEx and OpEx), limited data center space, manageability, and, increasingly, environmental concerns. Learn how Fortinet can help you address these challenges and deliver more effective security, notable cost savings, and a smaller environmental footprint.

Evil Mad Scientist is a pretty cool hardware hackers website anyways, but now they're selling their own variant of the Arduino in kit for for rather cheap.

Might or might not be worth your time but having a few of these things around is typically useful.
